This study aims to empirically examine the influence of intellectual capital towards company value and also its influence while being moderated by institutional ownership. This study uses purposive sampling to determine samples from manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the year of 2014–2018. The total sample obtained in this study is 301 from the 720 population of data throughout the research year. Data analysis techniques use multiple regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA) methods. The results of this study show that Intellectual Capital has a positive significant effect on company value while institutional ownership does not have a significant effect on moderating the influence of intellectual capital towards company value. The practical implication of this study is to provide information to managers or owners of public manufacturing companies and investors about the importance of intangible assets investment like intellectual capital as the competitive strategies to achieve more optimal company value, as well as for regulator to make clear regulations about the disclosures of intangible assets.
The main purpose of this study is to identify the impact of intellectual capital efficiency (ICE) also known as knowledge capital along with its components human capital efficiency (HCE) and structural capital efficiency (SCE) on bank risk-taking behavior in Bangladesh. To reveal this effect, the study uses generalized method of moment (GMM) estimator and Two Stages Least Square estimator (to check the Robustness) and unbalanced panel data of 32 commercial banks of Bangladesh consisting of 530 bank-year observations during the year 2003-2020. The main results of the study are: (a) ICE is significantly and positively connected with a bank’s credit risk which indicates credit risk grows up with the increase of Intellectual capital efficiency, and (b) Both the human capital efficiency and structural capital efficiency positively impacts credit risk but the impact of SCE is not significant as HCE, (c) Bank performance (ROA), RWATA, macro variable inflation, and size have a negative impact on bank risk whereas ID and GGDP insignificant positively impact on bank’s risk. Finally, the results of the study will assist the stakeholders, policymakers, and academicians for future research.
Intangible assets, such as information, are becoming increasingly essential to companies. Intellectual capital is another term for knowledge assets. The aim of this study is to find empirical evidence of the influence of intellectual capital and intellectual capital disclosure on firm valuation, as well as to identify the types of disclosures made by the banking industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015-2019. The data used in the analysis were secondary data from annual reports. A six-way numerical coding scheme determines the disclosure item index. With 36 disclosure objects, the disclosure categories are divided into three categories: structural capital, human capital, and external capital. Content analysis and multiple linear regression are two data analysis methods. The results of the analysis show that an average of 49.91 percent is expressed in the form of a narrative, 16.44 percent is in the form of a combination of qualitative and quantitative, 7.53 percent is in the form of numbers and 1.44 items are expressed in the form of monetary units (rupiah). Meanwhile, an average of 24.33 percent of items of disclosure were not disclosed. Intellectual capital disclosure has a positive impact on firm value, while intellectual capital has no impact. According to research, investors in the banking industry consider intellectual capital disclosure when making investments.
This research aims to analyze the impact of Intellectual Capital Disclosure and Information Asymmetry on Cost of Equity Capital and stock prices. It used purporsive sampling and studied LQ 45 companies enlisted in 2014-2015 Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research data gathered through non-partisan observation method and then analyzed with PLS analysis equation. The result shown: (1) Information Asymmetry has positive significance towards stock price; (2) Intellectual Capital has insignificant positive influence towards stock price; (3) Intellectual Capital has insignificant positive influence towards Cost of Equity Capita; (4) Information Asymmetry has insignificant positive towards Cost of Equity Capital; (5) Cost of Equity Capital has insignificant negative influence towards stock price. This research result validate previous researches’ findings especially in agency theory and asymmetry theory.
This study was conducted to seek the consistency of the results of previous studies on the influence of Intellectual Capital, with the mediation of financial performance, on the value of banking firms. The quantitative research method used the PLS-SEM analysis technique by using the Smart PLS 3 application. The research subjects were 45 banks listed on the IDX for the period 2015-2019. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results showed the consistency of the financial performance of banking companies with ROE and ROA indicators as mediating variables between Intellectual Capital as the dependent variable on the value of conventional banking companies using PER indicator as an independent variable. The type of mediation formed in the PLS-SEM equation model is partial mediation.

Managerial intellectual capital is one of the attributes of a global mindset, associated with knowledge, skill level, and creation of an organization competitive advantage. This paper sought to delve into the concept of internationalization of commercial banks by examining the relationship between managerial intellectual capital and internationalization of commercial banks in Kenya. The paper used positivism philosophical approach and adopted cross-sectional descriptive research design. The target population was top and middle level managers in commercial banks in Kenya. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0 to obtain both descriptive and inferential statistics. In addition, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used to establish the influence of managerial global mindset attributes on internationalization of commercial banks in Kenya. The study established that there was a significant and positive relationship between human capital, relational capital and structural capital as attributes of managerial intellectual capital and internationalization of commercial banks in Kenya. Further, the study established that human capital, relational capital, and structural capital have significant influence on the success of internationalization strategy of commercial banks in Kenya. Thus, structural capital, human capital and relational capital, which are the managerial intellectual capital attributes, jointly influence the success of the internationalization of commercial banks in Kenya. It is therefore recommended that when appointing managers, the management of commercial banks should consider factors such as an individual’s knowledge of global industry, global value networks, and global organization.
