Citations received over time

Incoming citations to the selected publications, grouped by the year of the citing work. This is separate from lifetime citation totals grouped by the cited article’s publication year.

The publication filters above define which articles receive the citations. The citation-year range below only controls this chart and the incoming-citation comparison. Removing publication-year filters includes older articles’ incoming citations too.

Annual history available for 3 / 3 selected publications. Supported display window: 2017–2026; 2026 is incomplete. Within a successfully fetched ten-year window, omitted years mean zero. Missing histories and years beyond a saved observation’s window remain unknown (—); partial coverage can understate totals.

Ciciana Amoah · John N. Mungai

International Journal of Research in Business and Social Science · 2020

Read abstract

This research examines the effect of financial literacy training and micro insurance on the financial performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of Ghana. This study aims (i)to determine the effect of financial literacy training on the financial performance of SMEs, (ii) to establish the effect of microinsurance on the financial performance of SMEs; (iii) and to determine the moderating effect of government regulations on the relationship between financial literacy training, micro-insurance and the financial performance of SMEs. The study was based on the financial intermediation theory and Schumpeter’s theory of innovation. The study adopted an explanatory research design, using a sample size of 260 SMEs in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis, Ghana. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data on financial literacy training, micro insurance, financial performance, and government regulations from SME owners and microfinance institutions. Analysis of the data collected revealed that both financial literacy training and micro-insurance had a positive and significant effect on the financial performance of SMEs. The study recommends that the management of microfinance institutions that provide financial literacy training and micro-insurance should undertake a survey on the needs of SMEs and the specific challenges they face in accessing microfinance services.

Retno Eka Wulandari · Sutrisno T. Sutrisno · Abdul Ghofar

International Journal of Research in Business and Social Science · 2020

Read abstract

This study aims to test and provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, socialization of SAK EMKM, understanding of accounting, level of education about the intention of implementing SAK EMKM by MSME owners with environmental uncertainty as a moderating variable. This study has some effect relationship pattern variable against another, either directly or through other variables as moderation. The results showed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and understanding of accounting had an effect on the intention to apply SAK EMKM, while the socialization of SAK EMKM and the level of education had no effect on the intention to apply SAK EMKM. The results of the moderating variable test show that environmental uncertainty cannot moderate the perceived usefulness, perceived convenience, socialization of SAK EMKM, understanding of accounting, and the level of education in the application of SAK EMKM.
