Although halal tourism has attracted growing scholarly attention, existing studies predominantly emphasize market potential, tourist perceptions, and promotional strategies. To date, no research has rigorously examined the probability of Muslim tourists’ visit decisions by integrating halal attributes, religiosity, and attitudes within Indonesia’s five Super Priority Destinations (SPDs). Addressing this gap, the present study applies a quantitative design using a probabilistic logit model based on survey data from Muslim tourists. The findings reveal that the completeness of halal attributes substantially increases the probability of destination choice, while religiosity and positive tourist attitudes further strengthen the likelihood of visits. These results demonstrate that halal tourism decisions can be modelled as a probabilistic function of destination attributes rather than solely as cultural or religious expressions. The study highlights the critical role of Destination Management Organizations (DMOs) in institutionalizing halal standards, thereby enhancing visit probabilities, boosting competitiveness, and ensuring sustainable tourism development.

Indonesia is optimistic about becoming the center of the world's halal industry and the halal industry covers very diverse aspects of life, from the financial, food and beverage, tourism, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries to the fashion industry. This very broad aspect of course requires the support of a lot of reliable human resources, namely human resources that are in accordance with the characteristics of Islamic values ??such as professional (kafa'ah), trustworthy (amanah) and himmatul amal (work spirit). For this reason, developing human resources who are currently or will be involved in the sharia industry is important. This research is qualitative research by conducting searches and comparisons of related concepts and policies, then analyzing them using the monotheism concept approach and finally describing the results of the interpretation of the data collected so that finally conclusions are drawn and convey the development model that should be carried out.

In the era of globalization and increasing awareness of health and product halal status, studies on halal product purchasing decisions are becoming increasingly important. The demand for halal products continues to rise along with the strengthening of consumers' religious beliefs through knowledge about the importance of halal. This research focuses on a halal product, Bipang Jangkar in Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia, which was affected by a viral debate regarding Bipang Ambawang, a West Kalimantan specialty made from pork, after it was promoted as a holiday food by President Jokowi in 2021. Concerns arose that this debate could influence the sales of Bipang Jangkar, despite being very different from Bipang Ambawang. This study aims to clarify the role of halal awareness as a mediator in the influence of religiosity and halal logo on purchasing decisions. The respondents in this study were Bipang Jangkar consumers in Pasuruan. A total of 170 samples were obtained through online questionnaires. The data in this study were analyzed using SEM-PLS through the SmartPLS 3 program. The results of this study indicate that all hypotheses are accepted, except for the influence of religiosity on purchasing decisions and the role of halal awareness as a mediator of the halal logo's influence on purchasing decisions.

Halal packaged food products have attracted much attention in ASEAN where its largest member, Indonesia, is the world’s most populous Muslim country and is a major market in the region. For a non-Muslim country like Thailand, Islam also has a significant role in being the second popular religion after Buddhism. Although the Islamic population in Thailand is not as great as in Islamic countries, Thailand plays a substantial part in halal business as being recognized as a food production base exporting halal food worldwide. Therefore, the major objective of this study is to identify and analyze the significant factors that influence purchase intention of Thai and Indonesian Muslims toward halal packaged food products from non-Muslim manufacturers. This study used a survey to collect data consisting of 200 Thai respondents and 200 Indonesian respondents. The results indicated that product ingredients significantly influenced consumers’ intention to purchase both in Thailand and Indonesia while halal certification only significantly influenced consumers’ intention to purchase in Indonesia.

Moreover new product development is signified as a dependent variable.Islamic tenets influence the adoption of new pharmaceutical products among Pakistani consumers as their attitude persuades adoption patterns that rely on religiosity. All possible substitutes within different dimensions were assessed to find out the most appropriate combination of dimensions which provided the output.
