Behavioral finance elucidates how investors rationally commit errors in the process of making investment decisions as a result of cognitive and emotional biases, ultimately resulting in unfavorable investment choices. People are unable to avoid a variety of behavioral biases that have an impact on investors' investment decision-making processes. The human mind employs shortcuts and emotional filters to interpret information, leading to errors in the decision-making process. The objective of this study is to investigate and assess the impact of behavioral biases such as disposition effects, herding, and overconfidence on investment decision-making. Additionally, we will examine how financial literacy moderates these biases. The research employed a purposive sample strategy to select generation Z investors in Kediri City. The sample size of 400 respondents was determined using the Krejcie & Morgan table. This research employs the Partial Least Squares (PLS) Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis method using the SmartPLS version 3 data processing application. The research findings indicate that the disposition effect and overconfidence exert a substantial impact on investment decision-making; however, herding does not exhibit a significant influence on investment choice-making. Financial knowledge enhances the impact of the disposition effect on investment decision-making in a positive way. Financial literacy has a negative moderating effect on the influence of herding and overconfidence on investment decision-making among Generation Z investors in Kediri City.
MSMEs play a vital role in global economic development, as well as being the key to most businesses and important contributors to job creation and economic development. However, amidst the uncertain business and economic situation, most MSMEs have to struggle to maintain their business performance. So efforts are needed from various parties to improve business performance in MSMEs. This research aims to test and analyze the influence of financial literacy levels on business performance, with financial access and financial risk attitudes as mediating variables. Sampling in this research used a purposive sampling technique among tofu processing industry players in Kediri City. The sample was determined using the Slovin method and a sample of 400 respondents was obtained. The method used in this research uses Structural Equation Model (SEM) Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis through the SmartPLS data processing program version 3. The results of this research show that all hypotheses are accepted. Financial literacy, access to finance and financial risk attitudes have a positive and significant effect on business performance. Financial access is able to mediate the relationship between financial literacy and financial risk attitudes, and financial risk attitudes are also able to mediate the relationship between financial literacy and business performance in the Kediri City tofu processing industry.
This research examines the effect of work motivation and work environment through work engagement on employee performance. This research is quantitative research with data collection methods using questionnaires. The sample in this study was 85 employees of PT. Pelindo Terminal Petikemas New Makassar who were determined using the Slovin method. The data analysis technique used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) PLS. The objective of this study is to comprehend and define the notion of accounting methods in establishing dowry and pisuke pricing among the residents of Kateng Village, located in the West Praya District of Central Lombok Regency. This study employs ethnomethodology, a research approach that utilizes analytical techniques such as indexicality, reflexivity, contextual action, and the presentation of common-sense knowledge regarding social systems. The research employs an interpretive paradigm as its underlying framework. This study employs original data acquired through interviews and observations. This study suggests that accounting processes for estimating dowry and pisuke prices are conducted using four methods: referencing prices, considering social strata, assessing social position, and evaluating personal qualities. These approaches hold significance as symbols of honor and commitment, self-worth, a representation of family values, and the unification of two families. The determination of dowry and pisuke pricing is associated with traditional accounting theory, the distinction between price setter and price taker, and the presence of bargaining, as observed in a market. The results of this study should be tailored to accommodate the talents of individuals. Put simply, women should thoroughly examine the background and socioeconomic status of their possible spouses.
Although numerous studies have been conducted on the impact of influencers on purchase intention. Researchers are divided into two factions, each yielding distinct outcomes. The initial group of researchers discovered that influencers exert a substantial impact on the desire to make a purchase. Conversely, the second group of researchers discovered that influencers do not have a substantial impact on purchase intention. According to the idea of planned behavior, a person's subjective opinions about their preferences or aversions have an impact on their decision to take action. This study focuses on Instagram users that follow Muslim fashion accounts such as Heaven Lights, Vanilla Hijab, Wearing Klambi, and Heylocal. These accounts identify the research objects as the products they offer. The sample technique employed is non-probability, specifically utilizing a purposive sampling approach. A total of 170 respondents were surveyed. The employed methodology for data collection involves the dissemination of questionnaires. The data analysis technique employed was Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) utilizing smartPLS 3.0 software. The findings indicated that influencers did not have a substantial impact on the intention to make a purchase. The factors of attitude towards advertising and brand attitude completely mediate the influence of influencers on purchase intention. These findings corroborate the findings of the research team that concluded that influencers do not have a substantial impact on purchase intention. The findings of this study also demonstrate the crucial significance of the mediating factors' attitude towards advertising and brand attitude in the impact of influencers on purchase intention.
