This study aims to evaluate the factors that influence data saturation in qualitative studies. The study adopted a systematic literature review of 24 journal articles published between 2018 and 2022. The articles were obtained from a Google scholar database. The findings point to five factors that affect data saturation namely, pre-determined codes and themes, sample size, relevancy of research subjects (respondents), number of research methods, and length of data collection sessions. It is argued in this paper, therefore, that in order to attain data saturation, researchers should consider multiple factors that may affect data saturation in order to increase the validity of qualitative studies.

Turnover intention is an employee's desire to move to another agency or stop working on their own volition or voluntarily from the organization where they work for certain reasons. Turnover intention behavior has a negative impact on the smooth operation of the organization, so it is necessary to study the factors that influence it and efforts to prevent it. This study aims to examine the effect of workplace well-being and workplace incivility on turnover intention, as well as to examine the role of job embeddedness in moderating the relationship between the two independent variables with the above dependent on employees of the Ministry of Agriculture vertical agency in Manokwari. This study uses a quantitative approach involving 121 respondents. Data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that; (1) workplace well-being has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, (2) workplace incivility has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, (3) job embeddedness significantly plays a role in moderating the relationship between workplace well-being and turnover intention, and (4) Job embeddedness plays a significant role in moderating the relationship between workplace incivility and turnover intention. To prevent turnover intention behavior in employees of the Ministry of Agriculture's vertical agency in Manokwari, it is suggested that the level of job embeddedness should always be maintained and improved for all employees of the Ministry of Agriculture's vertical agency in Manokwari.

The purpose of this essay is to discuss the phases and challenges of the explanatory sequential design (ESD hereinafter) of mixed methods research (MMR hereinafter) by reviewing relevant literature. The literature was explored during the design stage of a Ph.D. project that sought to examine the relationship among social capital, education, and employment for foreign students graduating from several Estonian universities. The review finds that the explanatory sequential design of MMR is much more complex than just sequencing how and what kind of data to collect; it also entails selecting how data will be processed and presented using a range of techniques that are often riddled with difficulties. By addressing these ideas, this paper will aid those interested in comprehending the summary of the explanatory sequential design of MMR.

The main purpose of this study is to measure up to what extent the independent factors defined by capital adequacy ratio, non-performing loans ratio, cost-income ratio, liquidity ratio, and loans-to-deposits ratio impact the financial performance of sixteen commercial banks operating in the United Arab Emirates using panel data for the period of 2013-2019. The secondary data was collected from banks and examined by applying standard descriptive statistics and the random effect model for hypothesis testing. It is concluded from the regression outcomes that non-performing loans ratio and cost-income ratio have a significant negative impact on commercial banks profitability in the United Arab Emirates, while capital adequacy ratio, liquidity ratio, and loans -to-deposits ratio all have a very weak positive relationship on the return on assets but they are not determinants of bank’s profitability due to the insignificant statistical impact on it. It is therefore suggested that to enhance financial performance and minimize the risk of non-performing loans in the future, banks must watch very carefully the loans’ performance and analyze thoroughly the clients’ credit history and ability to pay back their debts prior to any approval of loan applications. Furthermore, banks should continuously improve their assets utilization, liquidity, and techniques of managing operating costs, improve the impact of capital adequacy, and the use of deposits for lending activities from a weak positive impact to a significant positive impact on their profitability. The researchers recommend that future studies on credit risk management influence on banks’ financial performance should consider more independent variables and longer periods of study such as twenty or thirty years to have more accuracy and generalized results.

The recruitment process is more of an issue for many businesses. The process of determining the appropriate candidate to hire is often a costly, time-consuming process. Besides, due to incorrect decision-making or lack of objectivity in hiring processes, recruitment processes may not proceed effectively. Businesses are trying to use technology in their recruitment processes to avoid these problems. Currently, many businesses use internet and software technologies to receive applications and evaluate candidates. But despite these technologies, it takes time and additional personnel costs for people to coordinate all processes. Due to these and similar situations, there has been an increase in the use of artificial intelligence technologies in recruitment processes in the world recently. The use of artificial intelligence in recruitment processes has the effect of reducing costs and decision-making errors and appears to be beneficial in saving time. In this study, the use of artificial intelligence in the recruitment processes of businesses in Turkey was examined. In this context, interviews were conducted with the human resources managers of 22 businesses. According to research results, it was understood that artificial intelligence was benefited only as an auxiliary element in recruitment processes. It has been found that businesses do not rely much on artificial intelligence in their recruitment processes, so they do not use it or partially use it.

The purpose of this research paper is to extensively investigate and examine the effect of the CAMEL model variables on the profitability and financial soundness of the thirteen Jordanian commercial banks for the period of 2013 to 2019, the primary data were collected from the published audited financial reports of the Jordanian commercial banks. The study uses CAMEL model variables of Capital adequacy, Asset Quality, Management efficiency, Earnings ability, and Liquidity management to rank banks as per their overall performance and measuring their effect on banks’ profitability measures of Return on Assets and Return on Equity separately through applying the fixed effect regression model. It is concluded that the ranking approach shows that Bank of Jordan was in the top position followed by the Capital Bank of Jordan. Jordan Ahli Bank was in the lowest rank in most positions. Furthermore, the empirical results indicates that Non-Interest Income to Total Assets and Net Interest Income to Total Loans and Advances have significant positive relationships with both profitability measures whereas cost to Total Income and Non-Interest Income to Total Assets have strong negative relationships with the profitability measures. In addition, Equity to Total Assets has strong negative relationship with ROE. The study suggests that Jordanian commercial banks can improve their profitability through the concentration on main activities, efficiently managing their capital adequacy, maintaining high quality level of lending policy, and utilization of full assets. Additionally, the current study recommends conducting more studies on banks’ performance determinants with an expanded scope and using more financial models besides the CAMEL model.

Experiencing a pandemic and being quarantined have been proven to have debilitating effects in mental health. Some of the existing studies mentioned in this research have been conducted to assess the presence of possible mental health concerns brought about by the pandemic but most of these studies focused on the earlier phase of the pandemic. The present study focuses on the reported distress of the respondents who have been through a strict quarantine since March 2020 and are now experiencing a more relaxed lockdown. The objective of this research is to determine if COVID stress predicts common mental health concerns such as stress, depression and anxiety. A survey was conducted with 421 Filipino respondents ages 15 – 65 utilizing the COVID Stress Scales (CSS) by Taylor et al. (2020) and DASS-21. Correlational analysis was utilized showing the COVID Stress is a predictor of depression, anxiety, and stress symptoms. Then, comparative analyses were conducted to determine if differences of COVID stress across age groups, gender, occupation, and exposure. The results show that students and unemployed respondents are highly vulnerable to COVID stress and its mental health implications. Men and women did not significantly differ in distress. Surprisingly, those who have a COVID positive family member had the lowest COVID stress and DASS scores. There were 40.7% percent who experienced moderate to severe stress, 60.3% had moderate to severe anxiety and 53.1% of the respondents had moderate to severe depression. These findings show that the pandemic stress has debilitating effects on mental health. Common mental health concerns (e.g. depression and anxiety) may be highly prevalent due to the COVID-19 pandemic
