The objective of this study was to explore the factors influencing the intention to use Islamic digital banking in Indonesia, focusing on the roles of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, habit, hedonic motivation, price value, and religiosity. Data were collected from a sample of 434 respondents in January 2024 through an online survey. The study utilized a research model based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results indicate that effort expectancy, social influence, habit, price value, and religiosity significantly affect the behavioral intention to use Islamic digital banking, while performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, and hedonic motivation did not show significant effects. These findings highlight the importance of religious and ethical considerations, ease of use, and social factors in shaping the adoption of Islamic digital banking services. The study offers valuable insights for practitioners and policymakers, emphasizing the need for tailored strategies that promote the use of Islamic digital banking in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the role of psychological engagement, encompassing cognitive, emotional, and physical dimensions, as well as member behavioral engagement, including participation and word of mouth, and its influence on brand loyalty, which includes cognitive, affective, conative, and action loyalty in the National Cooking Club (NCC) in Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative approach with survey techniques, an online questionnaire was distributed to 500 respondents, yielding 162 valid responses. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 16. The results indicate that action loyalty does not significantly affect physical engagement, whereas emotional engagement does. Additionally, both emotional and physical engagement significantly influence participation, whereas cognitive engagement does not. Furthermore, emotional engagement has a significant effect on word of mouth, contrary to cognitive and physical engagement, which do not significantly influence word of mouth among NCC members.

Breastfeeding has been appreciated mainly as fulfilling an infant’s right to health. It, however, also involves the mother’s right to reproductive health, in this context, is the right to autonomy. This paper assesses how the selected provisions on breastfeeding facilitate the fulfillment of a mother’s freedom, precisely in the decision-making process. The analysis focuses on two groups of provisions: (i) Provisions of laws that affect breastfeeding by working mothers; (ii) Provisions of laws related to efforts to provide information related to breastfeeding for mothers. The study uses a doctrinal and legislative approach with the desk study method (literature, law, and policy review). The result is that the provisions of laws governing breastfeeding have not fully provided facilities for mothers as a way to fulfill mothers’ right to autonomy. This is based on two findings: 1) the absence of a clause requiring information on potential hurdles and challenges that mothers may face, and 2) the absence of a provision ensuring information given to mothers inclusive of the fact of no legal consequences related to mothers’ decisions. Those two are considered essential for the fulfillment of a mother’s autonomy.

This study aims to examine the association between banks and firms in a loan. Our data set was pooled cross section data from 2014 to 2016, with long-term loans of firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange as a unit of analysis. We estimate our regression model using ordinary least square (OLS) estimator. The results revealed that lower-risk banks tend to associate with riskier but well-performing firms. Similarly, lower-capital banks tend to associate with riskier but well-performing firms. These results are quite contrary to previous studies conducted in developed countries. Lower risk banks have relationship with riskier and well-performing firms in condition that the amount of loan is small enough to be considered safe. Meanwhile, lower capital banks in this study, especially in Indonesia, may face the geographical problem which drives cost so high that makes banks charge higher interest to possibly riskier firms. This study makes contribution by providing evidence from a relative fragmented credit market. Future research on this topic is encouraged to look out more detail especially in the causality interpretation.
