This study aims to examine the effect of the audit committee and internal audit on the audit report lag and examine the relationship between the audit committee and the internal audit moderated by the size of a public accounting firm. This study uses 220 samples of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange based on purposive sampling. The analytical method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that the audit committee influences the audit report lag while the internal audit has no effect. The size of a public accounting firm successfully moderated the relationship between the audit committee and audit report lag, but failed to moderate the relationship between the internal audit and audit report lag
This study aimed to analyze the effect of auditor rotation, audit fees, audit tenure, and professional skepticism on audit quality. The data collection method was carried out on 370 auditors who worked at the big 10 public accounting firms (KAP). The research data was in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire which was collected and analyzed using SPSS for windows ver. 22. The results of this study indicated that each independent variable had a simultaneous effect on audit quality. The auditor rotation variable significantly affected audit quality with an antagonistic relationship direction, so the first hypothesis was accepted. The audit fee variable had no significant effect on audit quality. The audit tenure variable had no significant effect on audit quality. The professional skepticism variable had a significant effect on audit quality. The professional skepticism variable had the highest beta coefficient among other variables, so the professional skepticism variable had the strongest and simultaneous effect on audit quality.
The objective of this research id to assess the effect of Quality Control System elements. i.e. relevant ethical terms and independency, on audit quality and to identify the moderating role of professional skepticism on the effect of quality control system on audit quality. The population of this research auditor working in Indonesian Big Ten public accounting firms, from which 252 auditors were selected as the sample. Using PLS-based SEM in SmartPLS, this study finds that relevant ethical terms and independency affect audit quality and that professional skepticism moderates the effect of independence on audit quality, but it does not moderate the effect of relevant ethical terms on audit quality.
This study aims to verify the correlation between corporate governance mechanisms, reflected independent commissioners, audit committee and audit tenure to audit report lag, and the audit complexity has able to moderate the relationship between corporate governance mechanisms to audit report lag. This study uses a population of manufacturing companies that publish their financial statements on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The samples are selected with a purposive sampling method. There is 100 manufacturing company selected as the sample for the period of 2015-2017. This study was tested by using the Moderate Regression Analysis test. The results of this study indicate that the audit committee and audit tenure have a negative effect on audit report lag, but the independent commissioner has an insignificant effect on audit report lag. Audit complexity is proven to increase audit report lag as an increase audit committee. This research provides the capital market authority (OJK) to issue policies and strict sanctions, thus encouraging companies to publish audited financial statements more time.
This study aims to empirically examine the effect of tenure audits on the timely publication of financial statements moderated by industry specialist auditors. This study uses a sample of 726 Firm Years, which were obtained through a purposive sampling method from companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. This study uses the method of Sub-Group Logistic Regression and Sub-Group Moderation in testing the hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that audit tenure has a negative effect on the timeliness of financial statement publications. This means that the longer the audit period of an auditor, the publication of financial statements will be relatively less timely. The results of this study also show that industry specialist auditors are able to moderate the relationship between audit tenure and the timeliness of financial statement publications. This means that the influence of audit tenure on the timely publication of financial statements in the industry specialist auditor group is greater than in the non-industry specialist auditor group. Therefore, the more specialist the auditor, the stronger the influence between audit tenure on timeliness.

Stock Price Synchronicity is a calculation used to show the proportion of the company's internal and external information accumulated into the stock price. This study aims to examine internal information in the form of sustainability reports and earnings quality on stock price synchronicity. Furthermore, this study also aims to examine the moderating effect of institutional investors as an indicator of sophisticated investors. The population in this study is a go-public manufacturing company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The sample was determined by the purposive sampling method. This research uses multiple regression analysis methods with a panel data form. The results showed that companies with a higher quality of sustainability reports had lower stock price synchronicity and institutional investors did not have a moderating effect in this relationship. The results also show that companies that have higher earnings quality have high stock price synchronicity as well. This relationship changes when the institutional investor moderation variable is added. Companies with higher earnings quality have lower stock price synchronicity values.
