This empirical research evaluates the mediating role of the employee-organization relationship through work flexibility and perceived organizational support variables on temporary employee performance in an academic institution. This research included 116 temporary administrative respondents as samples. The census sample selection approach was used to analyze primary data using SmartPLS. The present study revealed that work flexibility has no significant effect on employee-organization relations. Meanwhile, perceived organizational support has a substantial and positive impact on the employee-organization relationship. Work flexibility and employee-organization relationship positively and significantly impact temporary staff performance. Perceived organizational support does not affect temporary staff performance. Employee-organization relationship fully mediates the positive relationship between perceived organizational support and temporary staff performance. This paper is one of the first papers to investigate the role of the employee-organization relationship as an intervening variable in the relationship between workplace flexibility and perceived organizational support of temporary staff performance at a private university.
The field of supply chain management has been undergoing numerous changes before and during the pandemic. Emerging areas have caught the attention of researchers across the globe. The purpose of this study is to provide a bibliometric review and analysis of the research trends on supply chain management practice (SCMP) in the pre-pandemic and mid-pandemic periods. We collect and filter data from the Scopus database and conduct bibliometric analysis. Before and during pandemic periods, 293 and 211 papers were selected, respectively, from 9,246 publications. The researcher utilizes VOS viewer software to analyze the findings by carrying out citation analysis and keyword analysis. The study reveals seven current research streams of high interest within SCMP: Big Data, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Circular Economy, Industry 4.0, and Green Supply Chain. Supply chain management and sustainability are the most frequently occurring keywords. The most influential countries in pre-pandemic and mid-pandemic periods are USA and UK, respectively, with 59 and 37 publications. The Journal of Cleaner production was the most significant source of publications. This study is among the few pieces of research revealing current SCMP research trends during the pandemic. By considering the current SCMP concepts, business and policy decision-makers can adopt the modern concepts of the field to identify new opportunities by expanding capabilities in big data analytics, sustainable development, and industry 4.0 technologies.
The Entrepreneurship Education Program (EEPs) of Indonesia’s higher education has not been effective. The study aims to identify the extent to which EEPs in Indonesia was developed and propose several alternative schemes. The research uses the methodology of traditional narrative literature review and interviews with young entrepreneurs as the output of the EEPs higher education program in Indonesia. The analysis technique is done with an interactive model with steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusions. The literature study is intended for the latest research information that evaluates the effect of EEPs on the formation of EM and the formation of new entrepreneurs. Furthermore, the information is verified by the results of the interview data processing. Entrepreneurship education for multidisciplinary students, business incubators, funding provision, and program sustainability studies is the result of research as a proposal for the development of higher education EEPs. This program is part of a long-term solution to addressing labor problems in Indonesia.
This study aims to explore the uniqueness of the psychological contract in the Faith-Based Organization (FBO). Psychological contracts, as part of the bond between individuals and organizations, are constantly evolving research. In line with the Conservation of Organizational Resources (COR) theory, organizations strive to defend their resources. Faith-Based Organization (FBO) is an organization with minimal written formal contracts. The bond with the members is a bond with the same values ??and goals. This research examines the psychological contract of FBO, from the aspects of formation, contribution, and violation. The formation of shared values ??which becomes the affective commitment of FBO members is specifically discussed because of the uniqueness of the organization with its ideological and religiosity sides. Using the lens of the COR theory, this study sees the psychological contract of the two elements of the FBO, namely members and organizations. This study is a literature review using traditional narrative methods. The results show that there have not been many in-depth studies of the psychological contract on religious organizations (FBO) with religious aspects that characterize the psychology of individuals in it. This study creates new gaps in research related to psychological contracts.
This paper aims to examine the effects of bank mergers and corporate governance to maqashid sharia performance. This study also aims to examine the effect of corporate governance as a moderating variable. In this study, the measurement of variables using Integrated Maqashid Sharia Performance Measurement (IMSPM) which includes dimensions consisting of faith (din), self (nafs), intellect ('aql), posterity (nasl), and wealth (mal). Data processing was carried out using SPSS Statistics 29 with the source data of bank financial statements before and after the merger. The data includes the financial statements of BNI Syariah, BRI Syariah, Bank Mandiri Syariah 2015 – 2020 and also Bank BSI 2021 – 2023. The results showed that bank mergers have a positive effect on maqashid sharia performance. However, the corporate governance variable consisting of the independence and remuneration of the Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) shows that the independence of SSB has no effect on the maqashid sharia performance and remuneration SSB has a negative effect. Independence of SSB has no effect to maqashid sharia performance because SSB who are not independent or hold concurrent positions will have more experience due to their role in other Islamic institutions and banks. In addition, SSB remuneration has a negative effect because when viewed from the operational side, the high remuneration received by SSB will actually increase the burden on banks so that it has an impact on their maqashid sharia performance. Nevertheless, corporate governance variables both independence and remuneration of SSB can strengthen the effect of mergers on maqashid sharia performance.
This study contributes to our understanding of employee behavior in governmental organizations. This paper aims to demonstrate the effects of organizational culture, transformational leadership, and work motivation on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). This paper also aims to conduct a literature evaluation on the OCB of the public sector, using VOSviewer to acquire a visual representation of the research's progress. The VOSviewer for visualizing research progress adds value by providing a clear and intuitive representation of the scholarly landscape. Visualizing connections and clusters among documents can facilitate the identification of key themes and research directions. The study searched the Scopus database using the keywords "organizational citizenship behavior public sector," resulting in the discovery of 85 relevant documents. The study analyzed documents published between 2019 and 2023. Afterward, the study selected 25 documents with the highest rankings as references using Publish or Perish. Supplementary documents were discovered through Google Scholar and Proquest. In comparison to other studies, this research is more diverse in the variables, providing integrated information in the public sector. Consequently, this research remains pertinent. Nevertheless, the amount of study conducted on OCB in the public sector has been limited. Therefore, there is a potential for further investigation in this field. The main findings of the study demonstrate that (i) underscore the relevance of promoting a positive organizational culture, fostering transformational leadership, and enhancing work motivation to encourage OCB among public sector employees and finally (ii) the results of this study indicate that influential factors have a positive impact significantly on the OCB in the public sector.
